Kelly Clarkson was not about to let a stupid 'freakin pot hole' ruin her night. No, the original American Idol had a commitment to sing at the VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul event and she was not going to let some sprained ankle stop her.
Through how much pain can Kelly Clarkson continue to sing? From the sound of things, a badly sprained ankle, which has no direct effect on her voice, was an annoyance, but not a deterrent. Apparently, Kelly stepped in a pothole on her way to the concert and had to perform with her ankle taped. Kelly tweeted:
See, this is why people love Kelly Clarkson. She does not make excuses and in fact even laughs at herself. Kelly realizes that "things happen" and she decided to pick up and move on, without complaining. Lucky for Clarkson's fans she did not actually break her ankle, which might have made her rethink actually performing in pain.
