The original Idol makes her way to the Niagara Fallsview Casino in March. Kelly Clarkson, winner of the first season of American idol and one of the past decade's most successful pop stars, will play the Avalon Ballroom for two shows, March 2 and 3.
Easily the most successful Idol contestant ever, Texas-born Clarkson has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Her latest, Stronger, was released in October. She has amassed two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two MTV Awards and 11 Billboard Awards.
Tickets for both shows start at $60. While Clarkson is coming to the casino for the first time (she played the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, N.Y. in Oct., 2007), Jay Leno makes his third appearance with two shows March 9 and 10. Tickets start at $80.
The Elvis tribute show Return to Grace rounds out the March schedule with an extended run March 14 to April 1. Tickets start at $30. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday (Dec. 2) at the casino box office or by phoning Ticketmaster at 1-877-833-3110.
