Kelly Clarkson was busy playing the last concerts of the Asian leg of the All I Ever Wanted World Tour - however the pop star decided to take some time off and make an appearence.

On Superstar K - the American Idol of South Korea. Kelly taped the show in May and her episode finally aired this Friday.

You can see in the video above that, at first, Ms Clarkson pretends she's auditioning for Superstar K - please look at the suprise faces of the panelists.

At 22-sec mark! LOL Who could actually believe that the one and only Kelly Clarkson would be there to audition? Did those guys now knew who she was? Come on!

The "Since U Been Gone" singer then reveals she's there to guest judge. Anyway, after this hilarious moment, she took her seat and the real auditions began.

Kelly Clarkson has said she would ignore Simon Cowell if he tried to phone her. The 28-year-old musician shot to fame on talent show American Idol.

Which is judged by Simon. Kelly insists she doesn’t hold any bad feelings towards the music mogul, but would worry about why he was trying to get in touch.

She was asked during an interview who she would call, send a text message to or reject if she discovered she had missed a call from Simon, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul.

Who were also on the judging panel when Kelly won the first season of American Idol. Kelly revealed she would send Paula a text message and call Randy back, meaning she would have to give Simon the cold shoulder.

“I don’t really want to reject Simon. Maybe I would reject and call him back later, I would probably be nervous about what his call was about,” she admitted to British television show Hot Desk.

Things cannot get much worse for the troubled, battered, bruised, bloodied Lilith Fair. The biggest American Idol star of them all, the one and only Kelly Clarkson, has dropped off the tour  entirely, probably taking some ticket sales with her.

The news of the exodus of Clarkson comes hot on the heels of 11 cancellations in July due to poor sales and a lethargic economy. Clarkson's excuse? She has to work on her new album.

Kelly Clarkson has kicked off the upcoming 4th of July weekend with a live performance at a star-studded celebration on ABC. The "American Idol" singer took the stage of Ford's Theatre for a rendition of Nikka Costa's "Everybody Got Their Something".

Reportedly taped on June 6, the gig was aired Friday night, July 2. Clarkson wore a one-shoulder black long dress and wowed audience which included President Barack Obama. First Lady Michelle who served as the honorary chair of the gala celebration was seen in the audience as well. Ty Burrell hosted the event. Featured guests included Renee Fleming, Montego Glover, Laura Michelle Kelly, Gavin Lee, George Lopez, Lionel Richie, Robin Roberts and Dick Van Dyke.

KELLY CLARKSON thrilled fans in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday night (14Jun10) by staging an impromptu show at a karaoke bar. The Since U Been Gone hitmaker took to the microphone at Larry's Lounge, and she extended an invite to all her online followers to join her. In a post on her Twitter.com page, she wrote, "Okay, everyone that sees this in Nashville, meet us at Larry's Lounge asap!! Karaoke and fun times for everyone 21 and above!! Bring it!!"

Clarkson sang a number of songs during the night, including tracks by Carrie Underwood and Ke$ha, and she later gave a shoutout to her loyal followers who made it the venue, tweeting, "And the trophy for most awesome fan at Karaoke tonight goes to DANIELLE!!!!! You're awesome and sang the heck out of Proud Mary girl!!"

Kelly Clarkson appears to have lashed out at songwriter Ryan Tedder and music executives at her label RCA/Sony Music in a new song after they convinced her to record a copy of Beyonce's Halo hit.

The pop star was left red faced when critics accused her of "ripping off" Beyonce's hit, and claimed songwriter/producer Tedder sent her the track that became Halo without telling her he'd already offered it to the R&B singer.

Clarkson tried to stop Sony Music bosses from releasing her version, Already Gone, as a single - but failed. So, the American Idol winner altered the arrangement herself, so fans wouldn't feel cheated when they saw her in concert.

American pop star Kelly Clarkson, the winner of the first American Idol, will be hitting the stage in Seoul for the first time in May. Clarkson will be performing at the Olympic Hall, at Olympic Park, in southern Seoul on May 4. Seoul is the first stop on the Asian leg of her ``All I Ever Wanted World Tour.''

Clarkson shot to stardom after being voted the winner on the first season of ``American Idol'' in 2002. Since 2003, she has released four albums _ ``Thankful,'' ``Breakaway,'' ``My December'' and, the latest one, ``All I Ever Wanted.'' She has won two Grammy Awards  Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for ``Since U Been Gone'' and Best Pop Vocal Album for ``Breakaway'' in 2006.
