Kelly Clarkson thrilled her fans with an impromptu karaoke show at a Nashville bar this week. Clarkson invited fans to join her by posting a message on her Twitter page:

"Okay, everyone that sees this in Nashville, meet us at Larry's Lounge asap!! Karaoke and fun times for everyone 21 and above!! Bring it!!"

Clarkson and her friends went on to sing a set of songs, including Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" and Ke$sha's "Your Love is My Drug," before wrapping up her set. After the event, she thanked her fans on Twitter, exclaiming:

"And the trophy for most awesome fan at Karaoke tonight goes to DANIELLE!!!!! You're awesome and sang the heck out of 'Proud Mary' girl!!"

Clarkson will be kicking off a string of summer performances starting with the Lilith Fair tour, which will start in Denver on July 13. Others performing at Lilith include the Bangles, the Go-Go's, Martina McBride, and more.

KELLY CLARKSON thrilled fans in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday night (14Jun10) by staging an impromptu show at a karaoke bar. The Since U Been Gone hitmaker took to the microphone at Larry's Lounge, and she extended an invite to all her online followers to join her. In a post on her Twitter.com page, she wrote, "Okay, everyone that sees this in Nashville, meet us at Larry's Lounge asap!! Karaoke and fun times for everyone 21 and above!! Bring it!!"

Clarkson sang a number of songs during the night, including tracks by Carrie Underwood and Ke$ha, and she later gave a shoutout to her loyal followers who made it the venue, tweeting, "And the trophy for most awesome fan at Karaoke tonight goes to DANIELLE!!!!! You're awesome and sang the heck out of Proud Mary girl!!"

An amazing effort to help a city out that is facing at least a billion dollars. But the emotional toile for the families in Nashville can not be calculated.

I can not imagine the pain these families are facing they have literally lost everything that ever meant anything to them. Now that the flood waters have receded rows and rows of homes destroyed.

They have dragged all of their belongings out to the curd to allow the house to dry out and assess the damage to the structure. The majority of these families did not have a flood policy on their Home Insurance.

And Chris Daughtry were separated by four seasons on American Idol, but the two singers came together Sunday night at Daughtry's Nashville concert.

Sitting on two stools on a stage outcropping, Kelly and Chris did an acoustic duet of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car, which Chris introduced as "one of my favorite songs.

Contrary to Ryan Tedder's statement, Kelly Clarkson said she doesn't work with him in her next studio album. The winner of "American Idol" season 1 simply wrote "no" when responding to question about that matter during a Twitter party on May 28.

However, Kelly indeed admitted she is now in the middle of completing her fifth studio effort. "I've been working in the studio a lot for this next album & can't wait for y'all to hear it! New favorite is 'You're the only one for me'," she shared.

Other details about the upcoming release are not revealed, but in a message written a day earlier she stated, " 'Cleopatra' is NOT.

A song on my next record! It was written for another artist! I have no idea how it leaked, it's a rough demo, unfinished!" Ryan Tedder previously claimed.

He has put aside his feud with Kelly Clarkson, saying "I'm working on stuff for her next album and am personally over any of the drama between the two of us."

As part of a farewell performance to judge and producer Simon Cowell, the American Idol winners of season’s past (excluding David Cook) took the stage to sing to the man who gave them the opportunity to become a star.

So just where was David Cook? Apparently participation in a charity golf tournament was more important and yeah it’s probably true. Raising money for the Shadow Buddies Foundation was on Cook’s priority list.

The foundation reps said that David played at the Deer Creek Golf Course on Tuesday to help raise money for seriously ill children and then appeared at a breakfast on Wednesday.
